telephone consultation to parents and carers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has launched a free national phone line as a simple new way to bring worship and prayer into people’s homes while church buildings are closed because of the coronavirus. Daily Hope, offers music, prayers and reflections as well as full worship services from the Church of England at the end of a telephone line.
The line – which is available 24 hours a day on 0800 804 8044 – has been set up particularly with those unable to join online church services during the period of restrictions in mind.
What to expect?
The hymn & reflection will last around 20 minutes. When you dial the number you will be asked to press star if you’d like to hear the full message by the Archbishop.
Or press 1 to hear the hymn for the day - this includes a hymn, a reflection on the hymn, then hear the song again & short prayer. There will be a different hymn each day.

KINDNESS POSTCARDS
During this difficult time lots of individuals feel very isolated and alone. We are encouraging as many people as possible to make kindness postcards that can bring comfort to others.
You can either make a kindness Postcard and post to someone you know or alternatively you can post them to a residential/care home. You will find below a few of our local residential/care homes.
Remember this is for Adults and Children so draw away and add any encouraging messages. We would love to see what you have drawn so feel free to send a picture of your masterpiece to us.
