Prayer Chain at St. George's

What is St. George's Prayer Chain?
It is a commitment by a number of Christians from St. George's Church to pray for people and situations.
Its purpose is to have several church members praying in a short space of time for any prayer request.
Who/what can be prayed for?
Requests can be made by anyone who feels in need of prayer, or who has a friend, neighbour or relative in need of prayer. It is recommended that those being prayed for should be aware that the request has been made and be in agreement with it.
Will the prayer request become known in church circles?
No. This is a completely confidential process.
What can I put on the prayer chain?
Any situation that causes sadness, anxiety, joy or distress, for example:-
  • Family worries
  • Those who are ill or facing surgery, or accident victims
  • Those going through stressful times in their lives
  • Bereavement and terminal illness
  • Thanksgivings and answers to prayer requests
  • ...anything!
How do I make a request?
Please call or text 07470 681570, and give as much or as little detail as you wish.
All information will be treated as confidential and will be deleted, along with the caller's number, within 24 hours.
